Overview
ReactGrind ("we," "our," or "us") provides a coding practice platform for React engineers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ReactGrind, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: your email address, username, and authentication details when you sign up or log in.
- Practice activity: code you write and submit for problems, test results, scores, streaks, and solved-problem history.
- Draft data: in-progress code saved automatically so you can resume a problem later, stored either locally in your browser or against your account.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction data that helps us understand how the platform is used.
- Communications: information you submit through contact or bug-report forms, including your name, email, and message content.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the ReactGrind platform
- Save your progress, drafts, scores, and leaderboard standing
- Respond to support requests, bug reports, and contact form submissions
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve problems and features
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
Data Storage & Third Parties
Account data, drafts, submissions, and scores are stored using Supabase, our backend and database provider. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, hosting or analytics providers), solely for the purpose of running ReactGrind.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage and cookies to keep you signed in, remember your in-progress code drafts, and remember preferences such as filters. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out or clear unsaved drafts.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent or object to certain processing
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.
Data Retention
We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, contact us and we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
Children's Privacy
ReactGrind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of ReactGrind after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
